My old Prelude with ATTS was one of the best handling cars I've driven.

i've driven it too...it was nice in the twisties. by feel, it was hard to tell whether it was a FF or FR car...it just felt so neutral and "right"

all i know about the RL's new system is that it transfers torque to the outer wheels during cornering. is there anything else to the system?

have you seen the sh-awd demo on the track? it looks as good as advertised on snow...now the question is reliability!!

well, both systems have the same principle. the prelude was an FF car. in turns, atts would transfer more torque to the outer wheel, in effect "pulling" the car through the corner. the new acura system promises to do the same with awd. it is no doubt an evolution of the prelude's system.
