Question about A8N SLI

I just recently got my A8N SLI Deluxe board and while looking through the manual here at work, I noticed they have a proprietary EZ plug molex for the PCI-E power.

My question:

Does this plug make it so you do not need to power the cards individually?

No, this just offers more system stability and each card still needs a connector.
