Question about a Reverse Charge on Debit Cards

If a merchant reverses a charge, How long does it take until the money is credited back to my account?

Once the merchant told both me and my bank charges were reversed on their end could they have cancelled reversal 2 days still no refund

Amazon took 15 days to reimburse my bank account, for a purchase that THEY CANCELED!

After the thread has been cleaned up, it is a perennial question. My experience is about a week on average.

Just to be clear, the merchant has no control over this, it is run just like a charge. The (usually 5 or so) delay is entirely out of the hands of the merchant, so calling them and bugging them about it doesn't do a thing. They cannot research it, they cannot check the status of it. From their perspective the refund has been granted (and usually the money comes out of their accounts in a day.)
