Question about a girl...

My friend uses this forum often and I thought that I would join to use the off-topic portion . Well, I have an interesting dilemma and would like to get second opinions. There is a girl that I am interested in and I made the move today to ask her if she is interested in me. She responded that she found me attractive but didn't think that she quite liked me. Now I'm curious as to whether there is a chance that she said this since she's too embarressed to admit that she does like me or if what she said is engraved in stone, meaning that there is no chance that she was lying to me and trying to play the question off...

The way you worded it, "ask her if she is interested in me" makes it seem like she could have taken it 2 ways.

Just be blunt! Worst thing is she'll say no. At least you'll know for sure.

Please dont say "will you go with me to a movie" because that is very unoriginal. I personally do not even suggest taking women out to dinner as it makes it seems like you have to "buy" her attention which is not what you are trying to do.

Find somewhere interesting to go where there is a conversation built into the place and that's not boring.

Im sure there are plently of people here who will throw in their half cents. I'm not one of them. I dont understand why people think its even worth trying to date someone you talk to a few times but then again my moral standards tend to be fairly strict. Verses the tendencies the general population of this forum conforms to? Its only worth about a quarter cent, so I figured it was ok.
