I have the Asus A8V Deluxe with WiFi. It comes with a card with an external antenae. It is 802.11b/g compliant, so its capable of both 11Mbps (b) and 54Mbps (g). The modes you can configure it to are:
Ad-hoc Mode: connects to other wireless devices, where there is no access point present.
Infrastructure mode: functions as wireless client/station that connects to an access point.
Soft Access Point: acts as an AP so other wireless clients can connect to you.
Wireless bridge: connects 2 or more APs while maintaining connection to its wireless clients, used for integrating several wireless networks.
Oh also, Revision 1.xx are the ones with WiFi I believe, and Revision 2.xx don't have it...but it has a working AGP/PCI lock.
