I have an hp 9110i, and I'm just curious about the 80 min cdr's. never used any before. I'm wondering, do they work the same as the 74 min? or differently?? is the only difference in the amount of data they hold?? thanks......

sorry about the ignorance.... be gentle.

Basically just regard them as CDs with higher capacity. You shouldn't need to do anything different with your CD burning software to use them. I'm pretty sure your drive supports 80 min CDs.

I have an older 4x HP burner that works great with 80 minute CDR's. You should have no problems.
Thanks Justin

they work the same.

80min CDRs have a tighter spiral to them, that's all. and that is what allows for the extra storage.
