Question about 266mhz(133) vs 400mhz(200) ddr ram clock

Ok, Ive overclocked my venice core to 2.6ghz...now I could only do so by lowering my mem clock from 400 to 266....333 will not work....so in doing so, have i reduced any performance?

Lowering the memory bus speed will certainly cause a loss of performance. The question is whether the increase in CPU speed is enough to be worth the loss of memory bandwidth.

What is the highest CPU speed are you able to get with the memory running at 400MHZ?

Instead of lowering the memory clock try loosening the timings. My corsair memory with timings of 2326 had to be loosened to 2336 to get a 300mhz overclock on my system.

Just mess with it and try to get the best timings you can.
