I'm thinking about buying this monitor. I would like to buy a video card that has a DVI input, what card should I look at that can run 1600x1200 reasonably well and wont empty my bank account? Would a 9800 be sufficient?
 
Do your games run pretty smooth? I mainly play ghost recon, sometimes grand theft auto. There are a couple of games I would like to get back into.
 
With that athlon at ~1.5GHz listed on your sig, any card will be struggling at 1600x1200 on newish games

Oh whoops, I forgot to update my rig, its an xp 2800+. 😱

Edit: its fixed now.
