I've noticed some weird anomalies on the Neo2.

One thing i can't figure out is how i can boot into Windows @ 6*330 (& run Prime for a few minutes anyway) with no troubles.

So theoretically, since my CPU's max is about 2.63, & my HTT is fine till at least 330 (never bothered checking for higher), i should be able to run 10*263 or 9*291, right?
Wrong. I cannot even get into Windows @ 7*300 or 8*300 (even with a 100 divider)

It seems that as soon as i am actually running above stock speeds, my capability to use a HTT disappears, which makes no sense to me.

Bah, the Neo2 is good, but sure frustrating to me...

I also have no idea what to do about my RAM timings and stuff.

You just answered your own question.

Go read Zebo's OCing guide, which is sticked in this forum.

Then if you still don't understand, ask us what to do 😉

I am a complete noob at OCing. How are all of you getting such high speeds? I only seem to be able to get 230 with 11x (2530). If I go any higher then my computer will say it is in Safe Mode and press F1 to continue. I don't think I can use any multiplier other than 11x for some reason. I definately can't go to 240. I'm at 1.55v already. Am I doing something wrong? I also have no idea what to do about my RAM timings and stuff. I'm lost! Help!

There's your problem. Try setting a divider to slow down the RAM a bit. Then try bumping up the voltage on the RAM to about 2.8V. If that doesn't work then relax the timings on the RAM a bit. (if none of this makes sense then please check out the overclocking guide stickied to this forum before going any further. 😉).

I am reading the overclocking guide. Anyways, I'm not even using a high OC. 220 and 4x with 11x CPU. That is only 2420. RAM is at 200 with 2-3-2-6-1T. Using 1.4v vcore and 2.9v RAM. I just got 1 error overnight on Prime95 torture test. Should I raise the vcore voltage a little?

Yes, raise it to 1.45V and retest it. I had to tweak the Vcore up in order to get stable at 2420 with that CPU.
