Query: Is this funny or not?

In my informal polling of my colleagues here at the lab, I've found that people either violently laugh or frown and get mad from watching this following clip. Thought I'd share this and see if everybody else has such a dramatic reaction:

I love Tim and Eric.. I used to hate Tom Goes to the Mayor with a fiery passion but I started watching it more and more and I love the absurdity of it.. plus bob odenkirk is amazing.

I have no idea, but several of my friends at school are now just yelling OH MAMA! OH MAMA! at each other now. It's somehow... just really funny. The three of us are 25-28 year old genetics PhD candidates... so, uh, we're not stupid - but I really can't identify what makes it hysterically funny.
