Quentin Tarantino OverRated?

Resevoir dogs was great, Pulp Fiction was a masterpiece, Kill bill 1+2 is worthless IMO.

The 1'st kill Bill with the manga and splatter crap was just boring, No2 was better but the first movie still brings it down.

I like ALL of his movies excluding Kill Bill
I HATE all of his movies excluding Kill Bill.

Well, and From Dusk till Dawn. (Wrote, produced, acted)

Yes, I think that some of what his dialogue is great, but overall I think his movies are severely over rated. I found myself getting bored during parts of Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs.

Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill v1 sucked big time

BLASPHEMY! Pulp Fiction was without a doubt the most ingenious movie ever made.

I saw Kill Bill vol 1. Oh man, that was just aweful and meaningless. No more Tarantino for me, that's for sure.

I've always held the contention he's overrated. Most of his movies, IMO, are amaturishly written. The direction and photography is "borrowed" from past masters. So many of his movies have that film student feel, almost like one act plays.

I get the impression he's always writing the same movie. Pulpy crime stories that start in the middle.

He's good at writing snappy, unrealistic dialogue, but too much of the content of his films revolves around conversation.

I don't think he's capable of directing, or writing, an epic. Or any other genre for that matter.

Way overrated. He proves that you can succeed by trying to be eccentric and acting like a total ass. Pulp Fiction sucked. Of course, all the psuedo-intellectuals loved it because of it's dialogue and the 'hard' world of drugs. Spend some time around real drug dealers and you'll realize just how retarded Pulp Fiction really is.

The only movie of his that I actually thought was funny and worth watching was Four Rooms. The guy is totally full of himself. He can't act worth a crap but feels the need to put himself in most of his own movies.
