Queen of the Damned trailer!

You know what? I'm wondering why they didn't make Vampire Lestat instead? I mean, it was the better book of the first 3 IMHO. My problem is that they look to have taken a interesting book and made a Dawson Creek/Buffy version of QOTD. Damnit, Interview of the Vampire was very popular and that didn't need real young people to play the parts you know what I mean? BTW, Aaliyah looks good as Akasha.

some movies just can't do the character right..take Lestat for instance..there is no possible way you could find an actor that even comes close to what your perceived image of him is...each of us have a certain idea and hope what he would look like and act...sorry, but Tom Cruise is not waht i had in mind when I think of the vampire Lestat..its cool and all that they are trying to recreate her books, but we all know the movies can never do it justice. Just my opinion on that matter.

I just like a good vampire flick. I don't really care if it's entirely faithful to the book or not so long as I like the movie on its own.

I read the books years ago. Movies and books are different things and can both be enjoyed, even if the movie is based on the book but changed.

This is the film in which the unfinished voice tracks of Aaliyah were completed or touched up by using her brother's voice.
