Quantum tunneling fuses, are people really this stupid ?

Browsing ebay came across these fuses being sold. I know about the monster cable stuff, but people seriously buy fuses for $50+ because they think it makes it sound better ? Can be yours for $59.95.

one night in college after consuming a large amount of tequila i convinced myself and my drunk friends that i could quantum tunnel through a brick wall if i ran at it fast enough

I'll see your quantum fuses and raise you a Blackbody Ambient Field Conditioner!

http://www.lessloss.com/blackbody-p-200.html

The Blackbody ambient field conditioner enhances audio playback quality by modifying the interaction of your gear’s circuitry with the ambient electromagnetic field. The Blackbody eliminates sonic smearing of high frequencies and lowers the noise floor, thus clarifying the stereo image.

Just goes to show that you can sell audiophiles anything as long as it has big, sciency sounding words on the package. We should start a business venture selling high end cables.

"Yes, the ATOT 3.5mm audio cable has all the latest technology. It has a composite carbon fibre impregnated kevlar sheath. The tips are solid gold plated in platinum. The internal copper wiring is double helix coiled and treated in our state of the art quantum anti-matter particle accelerator to produce a cable with the sharpest treble and the deepest bass imaginable. You'll swear you're in the studio with Air Supply! It can be yours for just $10,000 plus tax, per meter."

you know..that explains a lot.

err, 2Million V? Hahahahahaha

You could hook it up to a Van de Graaff generator and leave the other end free to get it to 2 megavolts without blowing the fuse.

Wouldn't achieve anything useful, but it's doable.

/edit: LOL, I just read the description and that's basically what they do.

nothing more useless than a fuse that won't fuse 😎

Stupid people would rather buy $100 cables instead of upgrading $200 speakers if they think it will make their system sound better for cheaper.

Actually, you'd have to travel towards the wall very slowly.

You guys can say whatever you want, but when I use these cables I notice a definite increase in audio quality. Maybe your ears are just not as good as mine...

I'm jk

Would you like an $9999 audiophile jitter-free SATA cable to go along with your anti-Shannon theorem treated hard drive?
