I mailed a rebate in September for $30. About six weeks later, I mailed in a $30 rebate for a different drive. After about 8 weeks, I complained to Quantum and they said they only had the second rebate in their database. They said they would look into things. After a week or so, I sent a detailed fax to Quantum headquarters. A few days after this, I got the same e-mail everybody else is receiving, saying the rebate was delayed. I think this message related to the second rebate. The day after this, I received a $30 rebate, which I certainly hope was for the first drive I bought in September. I guess the moral of this story is that sending in two identical size but different product rebates to the same company can be confusing. Anyway, I am getting ready to contact Quantum again because now my second rebate is overdue, even giving them one extra month to send it.
I'll wait a few more days and start squawking again.
