Quantum Rebate

Has anyone gotten their Quantum Rebates yet from those 30 GBs a months back? I am getting concerned a bit.....

We want to reassure our valued customers that all rebates will be processed and mailed out immediately. If not for my TiVo (which uses Quantum HD), I would not buy this brand. It's very slow and noisy. Anyway, I sent in the rebate 09/25/00, and got a post card 11/10/00 (saying they received my rebate materials). I am still waiting for the check.

I didnt do this rebate thing, but Quantum is a very SLOW company... I had a problem with one of their HDs and it was under factory warranty so I sent it in and they said that they would have it back in 7 days... It took over 3 weeks...

But one good thing about Quantum is that they deliver even though it was REALLY late...

I did get my $30 rebate. And I got the postcard first. It eventually came.

I mailed a rebate in September for $30. About six weeks later, I mailed in a $30 rebate for a different drive. After about 8 weeks, I complained to Quantum and they said they only had the second rebate in their database. They said they would look into things. After a week or so, I sent a detailed fax to Quantum headquarters. A few days after this, I got the same e-mail everybody else is receiving, saying the rebate was delayed. I think this message related to the second rebate. The day after this, I received a $30 rebate, which I certainly hope was for the first drive I bought in September. I guess the moral of this story is that sending in two identical size but different product rebates to the same company can be confusing. Anyway, I am getting ready to contact Quantum again because now my second rebate is overdue, even giving them one extra month to send it.

I'll wait a few more days and start squawking again.

I sent a Quantum drive in for factory work and I was sent a refurb direct from Malaysia!

i sent mine in sept never got anything and i called and they said they never even got my rebate. sent again and will call them soon to verify they got that one. geez they better give us our rebates.

I sent my rebates in on 9/9. They confirmed it and said 6-8 weeks. I'm going to call them at 800 624-5545
