Nice. Daniel Craig is friggin James Bond. I thought Peirce Brosnon was pretty decent, but damn, Craig kicks much more ass than all the bonds combined (except connery). I may have to say something sacrilegious though. I think Daniel Craig will go down in history as the best bond ever... even better than classic Connery.
I liked Casino Royale a lot. I was skeptical when I first heard Daniel Craig was the new Bond but the writers definately did a good job on revamping the character and he pulls it off naturally. It's about time we've had some interesting Bond movies again. I didn't care for any of the Brosnan Bond movies, they were watchable but the writing just got too over the top and stale to be really enjoyable.

after the last one, i don't have much hope for bond movies any more.

Every Bond movie ever made has sucked so badly they're only good for camp value and trivia contests.

Except the last one. You sir, have no taste in movies.

Part of it is they re-wrote the storyline. It's more modern now and not trying to force 60's playboy/cold war/corniness into working today.

Watched one of the trailers. I really do not like when they show TOO much....at previews. I look away if they are too long.

Just gives too much away.

Looking forward to it.

Casino Royale was the best thing to happen to Bond in a loooooong time. Since Connery, that is.

I agree. Daniel Craig is the best bond... neck and neck with Connery. Maybe even better :Q

They better pick a better game than texas hold'em though. Everyone knew Bond had the straight flush before he even showed the cards. 😛

Of the Bond movies that have been in theaters in my lifetime, QoS is the only one I've had any desire to see on the big screen.

don't know how you could have derived that much information from the trailer

the trailer just shows that he's seeking revenge

the premise has already been discussed prior to the trailer when people were talking about the QoS taking place right after Casino Royale

Casino Royale was just fantastic all around, ranks up there with the best bond movies. It's my personal favorite Bond movie.

I was surprised and really excited to hear that this movie takes off where Casino Royale ended. Should be really good.

Meh, IMO Craig's Bond fucked up too much - too cocky. I always thought Pierce Brosnan did a great job - he had the English gentleman thing going without being overly macho - just smooth and kick-ass.

Brosnans bond isn't horrible, but Daniel Craig reminds me of Bourne. I'm all for more action, better story line (read somewhat believable vs. other over the top bond movies), and gadgets that actually seem like they serve a real purpose and can exist today IRL with no problem.

Too bad that's not how Ian Flemming wrote Bond, Craig is much closer to the source material. Hollywood as usual completely fucked with everything, now most people don't even realize it was a written series FIRST and a movie later.

Actually, Craig's Bond is closer to Ian Flemming's perception of the character. Connery in Dr. No was the only other example that gets so close. If you notice the opening scenes of Dr No, he's a bit of a hard-ass.

Craig is simply a cold motherfucker.

Brosnan was a wuss. ....but not a Roger Moore wuss, at least.

If there's a Bond movie better than Goldfinger, I haven't seen it.
