quantum Fireball 10GB, Dead?

I had a quantum 10 GB drive as the primary in an older system:

TBird 900
Gigabyte 7ZX
512 PC133
GF3 Ti-200

Anyway, the drive failed. The system won't get past post and gives "HDD Failure" message. I tried the drive in another machine, no dice. I can still feel/hear it spin up when it gets power and there is a green led on the bottom that comes on, I just can't get it past post on any system. I don't need it to boot to the OS I just need to get some data off of it. Any options? Thanks in advance.

Never used it. Says it can access HD's without going through bios. It's a bootable floppy.
