Quantas Airbus A380 engine trouble

This is like the fourth Engine issue for A380. Rolls Royce has some explaining to do.


Good thing no one was hurt. For an engine explosion to not be contained by the shield is pretty scary. It could have easily ruptured the fuel tank and turn the plane into a giant fireball.

Trent 1000 is not all that different than the Trent 900...So I would be worried about that engine too. But like I said one of them goes on 380 you still have 3 available.

The casing is supposed to contain all explosions so I am very worried about this.
