best cheap CD's I've ever bought. Burned 350+ and never a coaster here. I'm sure others would disagree, though. The 'Prime Peripherals' branded CD's are the EXACT same CD for a few bucks cheaper. That's as cheap a CD as I'll go.
I stopped buying expensive CD's, because 95% of the CD's I burn are either for someone else, or are not Masters. I do use better quality disks for my back-ups and CD-Mastering Projects.
Mine have been excellent. No bad burns. But the Memorex ones I had were terrible. 50% defect rate, even with burn-proof. I looked at the discs and saw sploches of ink on the discs.
no burning errors, but mine won't play on some cd players, and they skip a lot in some others. but they seem to function normally in about 50% of the cd players i've tried. and they scratch really easily... i don't mean the underside, i mean the label side. this is bad since that is the side that really contains the data.
Never used them but quality seems to be going downhill among various brands....the last spindle or Imation dics I bought had an incredibly high failure rate....I just bought some TDK discs and so far I've burned 3 single CD's and used 7 discs so their bad rate seems to be high as well. Friend of mine brought some IBM discs over the other night and we were 10 for 10 using them so at least they seem to be ok.
If PNY is the same as Prime Peripherals, then they're not bad.
Prime Peripherals work great for me. I realized a while back that the spindle I had was only rated for 8x burning, but my new Plextor has been burning nice, clean (audio) CDs at 24x no problem on Prime.

Same thing with me. Been using them ever since i got a burner, and everything's worked perfectly. The only coasters I've burned with PNY's are b/c the data I was burning was corrupt or somethi8ng, which made the cd unreadable. However, tested some Memorex's, and about half of them didn't work, even for music cd's. The free slim line cases came in handy though
I backed up my divx movies on a 50-spindle of these. The package said they were rated at 16X, but Nero wopuldn't burn them any higher than 12X. I never had a coaster, though, and none of the files have been corrupted.
I don't care for em. got 110 of em with a deal on black friday. these are the only 16x rated cdrs that won't burn at my full capacity (32x)
they will go to 24x though, which is better than they were rated still. btw i have a liteon 32x
