Quality headphones

I'm looking to buy a pair of Sennheiser HD595 headphones, but I don't know if I should stay with onboard sound (Gigabyte DS3) or would a Soundblaster audigy card make a difference. If so, what would you go with (audigy 2 or 4).

What would really make a difference is getting a qualtiy soundcard, then getting an amplifier to run through the soundcard/headphone. Good amplifiers can be had for like $70. Also, the m-Audio revolution is excellent for soundquality, if a bit lacking in the CPU respects.

A Sound card is always better than onboard sound, but it is getting better though. A good SC will bring those sennheisers alive, especially if you go with something like an x-fi
