That was awesome. One of those things where you are "embarrassed for them." I mean who are they trying to appeal to when the thing is like a saturday night live skit? If neither young nor old get it, you are in trouble.

The funny thing with Maroon 5 is they didn't have the rights to stream the music or something. So, as you noticed, the people there obviously heard Maroon 5 play, but if you were watching the streaming feed, you heard whatever music was dubbed over it.

What made me cringe was that they pronounced it Gang-nam Style, like Gangster.

It should be Ga'ngnam Style.

I cringed the whole clip. Between the idiots at the beginning and the old guy trying to be cool...wtf...

And what's most embarrassing in all of this is that not only does Qualcomm think of us as frivolous, delusional, ambulatory ATM machines, but there's a good chance that the seller of the next mobile device you buy does too.

Thanks for the link. I was thinking along that line, but my thoughts had not coalesced. Then I read your link and there it was -
See, we weren't the audience for Qualcomm's "Born Mobile" performance. We were the subject.

Sadly, they're probably right.
