Has anyone seen anyone testing Crimson Desert? Considering how it runs on Intel, that kinda made me wonder...

I downloaded 125GB to let you know it crashes to desktop on startup without any error dialog. Even with very strict emulation it crashes.

I am not surprised. Anything with anticheat and/or Denuvo is likely unrunnable.

Some more WoA/xta/Prism and Adreno complaints:
Northgard seemed to be working but it locked up half way through a game. Couldn't tell if it was D3D11 wrapper or emulation that exploded. Tried again in OpenGL. All the colors were wrong in the menu and only 18-20 FPS in game (though the colors looked right here).
That game works even on MacOS.

I did finish a game of AOE2DE. Gaming battery life is bad but that might be expected given this only has a 70WHr battery. But it's bad even when at vsync 60Hz (estimated 3.5 hours in AOE2DE). Worse than Lunar Lake 226V/130V with also a 70WHr battery (same game I can get 6-7 hours easily).

So don't buy this for gaming. (I didn't! but it's fun to test)

not just for gaming. Do not buy this laptop for professional GPU or media engine related tasks.

It sucks for video editing, 3D rendering and any GPU acceleration led tasks.

Since that apparently doesn't throttle much on battery, makes sense.

I don't think throttling is a consideration in this case. 3.5 hours on a 70Whr battery is 20w. That's well below the 50w power limit.

It's not going to be running at 50W all the time. That 16" OLED screen and high resolution aren't helping.
