Qualcomm Snap Dragon 400 vs various quad core A7s

Is there any major difference between the S400 and other A7 quad cores that are out there, like from Mediatek(i.e. Acer Iconia A1) or the Allwinner chips?

I believe you'll get better graphics performance from Qualcomm's Adreno 305 than you would from the Mali400 or SGX544 found in those cheaper A7 chips.

Avoid anything Mediatek. It is all marketing and terrible performance.

Don't forget that you also get Qualcomm's wireless baseband on the chip as well. Better performance there will also make a big difference when web browsing or making calls.
