Quake3.....how do I get to the desktop during gameplay?

Ive tried Tab+Alt already. Wont do a thing

Hmm... alt+tab works for me.

BTW - Its ALT + Tab (must press alt first). It doesnt work the other way around.

hit the start button key on the keyboard

When I do the Start button, all i get is the taskbar, wont let me access my desktop. Even when i hit the "desktop" button on the taskbar. This sucks

ALT+ENTER puts q3 into windowed mode, then you can get to your desktop with esc or alt+tab.

I dunno, pressing Alt-Tab will bring me back to Windows, but will also close/exit Quake3...

Just tried it and all you have to do is alt+enter to get to windowed mode and then either bring down the console or move the q3 cursor down to the taskbar to get to the desktop, alt+tab will do it also, but only if there is something else running to alt+tab to.
