I love the game as well, but it just under preforms. I think the dated graphics and it not being a pure twitched based shooter turns off a lot of people (i still play Continuum -formerly known as SubSpace-).

It's good, but not really really good.

Ha, I used to play subspace back in the day, got it when I first got the Internet and wanted something to play. Good times, until quake took over my life, followed by starcraft.

I thought it was good aswell. The dated graphics do bring it down (megatexturing my ass).
I liked it mainly because it has a battlefield-like multiplayer (without the bugs and other shit) and it allows me to jump around, circle strafe, and pump lead (or laser) into my enemy like a maniac. :)

I'd go for Orange Box, CoD4, or Bioshock (ok not MP, but still a great game) and return Quake Wars if you paid $50 for it. CoD4 is probably the least likely to decrease in price.

I personally like Quake Wars a lot though. Mainly because it is a good sci-fi version of Battlefield 2 without the bugs and with proper widescreen support. Also, I have faith that Id Software will continue to support the game.

Exchange it for CoD 4. That's what I did. Play the demo and you'll see why it's not too good.
