Quake live

Can anyone play Quake live? All over the website it claims to be playable on Macs. I use Firefox and try to play on my Intel based Macbook and a popup tells me I need Firefox to play and my browser is not compatable.

On quakelive's main page it did have a news feed saying it only works on safari right now. They're trying to fix it for firefox atm.

Works great on my MBP. Only with safari though.

even in windows i had issues with quake live on FF. Dunno if thats been fixed cause it was a while.
