I play it quite a bit. I'm not sure how you can measure whether it's taking off or not when it's a closed beta. They are making a lot of progress though, with new updates fairly frequently.

It's gotta be one of the dumbest release strategies i can think of.

The invites are so rare that those who first got in no longer play anymore, so then there come in newer players, who get bored & no longer play since no one else is, & repeat.

Either make it a tiny closed beta, or open the damn thing to the public.

I haven't played it for i don't know how long now, since there weren't enough people playing when i was, & i'm sure there still aren't now.
