I don't know if this is normal but I doubt it is. I think my video card might be on it's way out. I hope not though. Is the sky normally like this? The walls in some spots(shady) is like this as well. Plus I get a flickering on my desktop from white to slight yellow to slight pink. Trying to see if the monitor or the card is going.

looks normal to me. Quakelive's graphics aren't very detailed - it's no crysis. hehe.

I'd say your gpu is fine, unless you're noticing problems in other games as well.
