I thought Q4 was supposed to be the multi-player expansion to D3 and the single-player sequel to Q2 at the same time??... Obviously, it was gonna to be built on the D3 engine, no one should be surprised by that. How many hundreds of games were built on the Q3 engine?

Actually, I've been playing the single player and I like it. It's easy and slightly mindless, but I think it is much better done than Doom3. I quit Doom3 after a few levels

MP so far its somewhat hard to find a really nice server, but I expect that might change soon.

I've already prepared for this long ago by selling my A64/X800 XT and moving down to a mobile celeron/6600GT. The Xbox 360 is taking over.

 

Quake 4 is what Doom 3 should have been, at the very least.
