I'm not exactly a quake fan. I liked Quake 1 and 2, didn't like 3 at all. I am a big Raven Software fan, liked most of their games(owned most of them in fact). However, this game looked too much like D3 for my tastes. D3 was a terrible FPS. I have confidence in Raven, but I think they need to stick with what they've got, which is way better than anything ID will make. Soldier of Fortune 3 ftw.

Does anyone else have problems getting this Demo to run above a 60Hz refresh rate? I have an X800XL w/ the newest Cat. but for some reason I can't get this to run above 60 and it's murder on my eyes. I've got the control center set to override 3d refresh rates and to use my default desktop setting but it isn't working properly. Any ideas? Thanks!

ReForce has worked for me up to and including now. I have to set it every time I install new drivers, but I get no problems.

I thought it would be better. Glad I didnt' buy it when it came out. Don't get me wrong, it's not a horrible game, but I'd rather get CoD 2 or F.E.A.R. instead.

I found the game at Goodwill for $1 played it for the first time last year (Win 7 64 bit) and completed the single player mode. Pretty average shooter though it gets noticeably better after the player's transformation. Doom 3 was much better IMO
