Quake 4 Dedicated Server

Err, i would assume will be hundreds of dedicated servers set up all over teh world in a matter of hours once the game is released...

No sense? Dedicated server as in the server software. The software needed to HOST A SERVER. Here I will rephrase/add to it:

Where I can download the software needed to host my own server? Will it come with the game? Will I have to wait untill its released? Where will it be released at?
 
Is quake going to support linux servers? If so, i'll be putting up a q4 server on our Quad opteron
 
Well I don't know... I would think that they would offer it for download seperatly since there are so many game server companies would dont really need the game. Example: Source Dedicated server is available to download by itself from Valve... Not to mention its ALOT easier for me to download it from my server rather then try to upload it at 40KB/sec.
