I haven't followed Q4 too much, but my basic impression was just that it's a repackaged Doom 3 with different monsters.

Is that the jist?

It has much better gameplay then D3 in both single-player and multi-player.

I havn't played it much yet either but so far it seems like Doom 3 but much more action packed instead of slow paced scarry scenes. I give it a thumbs up so far.

ATItool works well if you have an ATI card.
