Looks like Extreme YMMV......per usual at Target. Or a mistake.....? Seems too new for that price.
 
I just bought it at lunch. I scanned it at the price scanners and it came up as $19.98 and 3 boxes had the clearance sticker on it.

I will be there after work. I wanna pick one of these up. I also have a unopened copy of Need for Speed Most Wanted Black that some B&M is gonna take back. Got it for my birthday last month and since I already have it, its going for something else.

I wanted to pick up euro force and special forces for BF2, but damn EA with their not so quality patch.

Funny most of the tournaments host CS instead of quake 3 and 4 and the prize money is bigger in CS tournaments too. And what makes you think CS don't require skill dumb ass?

Is it because all you do is buy mac10/elites and run straight into the enemy territory?

Is it because all you can do in Quake is camp the rocket launcher and lightning gun and armor, is that how you consider skill, when you can't fvcking aim for the head?

Or is it because you just got owned hard in CS and never decide to play in it again cause you would cry when you get owned.

If you want to duke it out, play some damn airsoft and get your @$$ off of your computer chair! 😉

Target clearances take a while to filter down. By the time some stores get it on clearance other stores are on wave two or three and it's even cheaper.
 
Target is a ymmv thing. All stores don't go by any set schedule on clearance. If your target is still reg price and you really want it start checking once a week. It will eventually go on clearance unless it sells out first. I have 2 stores near me and the one usually will mark clearance a week before the other.
 
Ive seen games go from clearance price to normal price as well. I wanted Empire Earth I, it was $13, so I waited for it to drop down. I went in a few weeks later it was $19.99 normal price. I was pissed.

better idea? since asking for the dpc is a nono, how about the upc code?
to help out i just checked at lunch and here it had a sign saying "price cut" and scanned at $39.99

most of that is true, but some stores may never have it on clearance
those iomagic dvd burners never went on clr here they are still $79.99
but eventually i found one store in the district that had it for $24.98
some people have gotten them for $2.54 i heard on the net

some variables:
1. old product and new product having the same upc
-- usually target will get to 50% and then snap back to full price, but still stickered

2. lazy/understaffed markdown team

3. it's not on the plan-a-gram

Yep that game was amazing graphically and very enjoyable to play. The single player campaign doesn't last very long but it's pure fun all the way.

I haven't yet gotten into the multiplayer, as I prefer ctf to deathmatch, but that's just me.
 
man it wasn't on sale at either of the 2 targets down in southwest houston. Both are super targets. So definately a YMMV thing.
 
Nothing at the Brooklyn Center Target on Shingle Creek. Although I did see WoW for $29.99. (Is that the normal price now?)
 
Note to self: Stop running to Target in hopes of finding markdowns. They are never marked down at the ones I go to.

yes it is...

went back, and yes indeed it is the same dpc code and it comes up on the scanner as quake 4
however it is still $39.99

google the isbn and it comes up with an efay listing that has a picture of what the game looks like here
 
People you must get this game whatever the price may be....it is DA BOMB

P.S. you need some serious hardware to fully enjoy the graphics
