Quake 3 Timedemo Question

I've had quake 3 for a while now, haven't played it recently. Although i updated it to v1.31. How the hell do you do a timedemo? I'm just curious of what i get, and it keeps coming back the the main menu. Just wondering...

you have to download or create one yourself, the original ones weren't updated to 1.31
