Quake 3 hosting problems...bots keep appearing!

I try to setup a listen server using the in game menus, with no bots enabled, but the damn bots keep appearing and joining! I kick them and they come back again...what's up with that?

Another thing. Why is it I seem to have the OSP mod installed even though I didn't install it. I suspect this mod is what's causing the bots to just appear. I click on the MODS button in the menu but I can't see the OSP mod, but I'm sure its there since I sometimes see "Welcome to OSP blah blah blah" appearing when I play a game, and at the end of the game it gives me the game statistics...
What's going on?!

Hmmm Goi it seems like a general problem...if I set up a server with bot_minplayers 6 it after a while starts entering more bots who just sits there an spectate. It damn annoying and for now I don't seem to have a solution sorry

Thanks. The thing is I didn't set it up bot_minplayers or anything like that. This is with the in-game menus, I set it up such that there are open slots, but no bots are enabled...not with servarena or other server software. And they don't just spectate, they're actually in the game duking it out. It didn't use to do it before...

Have you tried reinstlling the game???. That you describes sounds weird. Have you checked your computer for virus???. Know it isn't that possible that it's virus .

Well, the thing is that its a rather clean installation. I didn't even download/install any mods for it since my last HDD reformat a few weeks ago. The only 3rd party stuff I have for it are 2 demos and all the maps I have from my previous installation. I don't think maps and demos actually mess around with the games code?

Also, I have a feeling it has something to do with the OSP mod I have, even though I don't remember even downloading it, much less installing it.
