Quake 2 2014/2015 servers still active!

The event was a success over 36 people showed up had many 13v13 14v14 and 15v15 games over 20 great games that night lasting til 4AM.

ACME TMG RAILWARZ CTF server has steadily had 10-20+ people connected 6-7 nights a week for all of 2015.

2016 is looking very promising with many old school quakers coming back to join the fun.

Feel free to message me if have any questions about how to download a quake2 client fr free. R1q2, q2pro, the original quake2 client demo and update to 3.20.

I can help guide you on right direction if you are using mac or Linux as well so you can run quake2 natively.

Bright skins. Map paks. Etc any questions feel free to ask.

Plenty of people connect to our ventrilo server while playing every night. Even a very nice gal from Portugal chats it up with us while playing and she is no new she will drag the sh! T out of you while you listen to her chat it up on vent cracking jokes n haVing fun.

Download ventrilo on your phone.
Server ip on acmectf.com just click communications tab and you will see ventrilo ip port on side.

I played q2 lithium 20+ hr per week before I was married back in 97, mostly on Pipco's "Stop eating my server *MUNCH*" in chicago. [A-6] was my clan, man were we good.
Quake live gives you the speed you need in clan arena though, the rocket jumping off walls, etc is every bit as fast as a 250 hook from q2.

Hey beav, Em here. LM has been dead for a few months ever since our last tourney ending in September. There was a small debate regarding brightskins/configs which turned into a shit storm.

It'll come back around for us. I've been in a gaming hiatus lately, need to hop on some Q2 soon. Railwars is fun but a little too much spam for me. Takes away from the skill and really comes down to luck. Just my opinion, but still a great game/mod and even better community.

Hoping to see you around, we need to match up for quakecon this year, didn't know you were in Dallas!
