Wouldn't it be great to have a 20 pound notebook with only 15 minutes of battery life. I'd want mine with at least a 22" widescreen.

If anything it would be like the XPS M2010. More like a small desktop than an actual notebook.

Call them all-in-one PC's or something, they aren't laptops.

It'd be cheaper to build a SFF and it would probably still be lighter and with a $100 UPS you can use it longer than the laptop in question unplugged.

If I wanted something that heavy heating up my lap, she better be attractive and of legal age.

Speaking only for myself, my tolerance level for a notebook is roughly the current form factor of 15.4" widescreen at around 7 pounds. Now if only notebook manufacturers will put better GPUs into those. Nothing stopping them besides marketing and product differentiation.

What if Asus came out with a Quad-core and an 8800GT at 7Lbs and a 2 hour battery life? Would you be willing to pay well for it? Personally, i wish manufacturers would make Tablet with some decent graphics like an x1600.

No, I wouldn't be willing to pay for it. Of course I'm not willing to pay for quad core and an 8800 GPU in a tower either, at least at current pricing. In a year after they aren't the best anymore and pricing is 1/3 what they are now? Maybe.

WTF is a Geforce Go 7700? Must be a notebook only part. I would like to assume that it is better than a 7600, but who knows.

It is the die-shrink of the 7600 Go.

For small size, I love my W3J: ~5lbs, 14" WXGA, MR X1600, 1GB of RAM, Core Duo...
