Quad Core support info, when?

When do you guys think manufacturers will start releasing quad core compatibility info on current mobo models. I'm about to build a c2d machine around one of the P5B series boards, but would love to know if I have that upgrade option down the road.

I believe that the P5B-Deluxe and DQ6 are.. they support 8-phase power EPS12v (if your PS does)

I find that I rarely actually use "future proof" mobo possibilites bec. by the time that new cpus are out
there is a better chipset to choose from and who wants an extra chip laying around?
