Quad 5970 vs Nvidia 580gtx?

I want to upgrade but at this point I dont know if I should. I want to be more than prepared for BF3!!!

BF3 is not coming out until Fall 2011. By that time HD7000 series and Kepler may be around the corner. If you are bored of your HD5970 setup, sell it and grab tri-Fire HD6950s unlocked into 6970s. Otherwise, I don't think a GTX580 SLI setup is an upgrade.
