Qns on memory

Currently im using a G600P Acer , it's already been 3 years old. It has PC-2100 256mb + 512mb on it and im planning to upgrade it.

1) Should i buy a higher module , say PC-3200 1GB, rather than PC-2100 1GB ?
I also notice that the price for PC-2100 and PC-3200 are the same..
2) And how do i know if my motherboard & CPU are capable of running PC-3200 memory..
3) Is it better to run 2 sticks of 512MB ram or 1 stick of 1GB ram?

I asked a similar q yesterday, I recommend going to either Kingston or Crucials website and entering your system details as your mobo may only support one stick of faster RAM (that will be capped at your mobos limit) limiting you to the 1gb stick.

Definately go for the faster ram if it's the sme price...you may want to use it in a future system.
