Am I the only one who always saw this as an insult? On the forums I started out at it was always used as "quit fucking thread", basically meaning GTFO you noob

Yeah, for a while, I thought it was "quit fucking talking"

I personally don't like it. Same with the "This." I picture some slovenly meathead pointing with chips smeared across his chin.
