Also, feel free to post QFT and FTW to your little childish heart's content. Only tell me what the point is!

It started popping up more while I wasn't posting for a while and I just recently started back. If I saw it before then, I just assumed it meant something else and didn't think much of it. It's sad that a person can't post a question on ATOT anymore without feeling like they have to defend it.

Try asking the same question on TFNN and see how it turns out ;)

What does knowing hip acronyms have to do with being a lifer in a hardware forum? The only reason I knew what FTW meant is because I used to play Guild Wars. I regularly see unfamiliar acronyms here.

My most recent one is NEDM. Anyone know what that one means?

I feel it's appropriate to use either, and not just for neffing. It's good for thread bumping and letting it be known that several people may share the same opinion

I see nothing wrong with using them now, as they make more sense they way they were meant to be taken. When I would see them, I thought they meant something else, and I couldn't understand why they were being posted. :)

I was gone for quite a while. I'd drop in and post occasionally, but the last time I posted like this, was almost a year ago. I think!
