They won't allow a hot link to the coupon. Here is the thread.

No linking to other hot deals sites

Exactly what I was thinking, especially with the copyright of 2004 on there.

Still, if it works for anybody else I'll give it a try 🙂

There's a discussion on the slickdeals version of this. From what I gather, the coupons are valid but poorly run.

One Qdoba manager from Kentucky claimed that the using the coupons (if you hadn't personally received it in an email) was equivalent to coupon fraud. However, someone pointed out that the coupon is not altered, and simply says limit one per a customer. The email may state an intended recipient but that name is not part of the coupon.

My view on the matter is that the coupon is legal, whatever Qdoba's intentions may have been. Whether the store accepts it seems to vary with location; some accept it, some may give you dirty looks, and some may refuse the coupon.

I think this would best be summed up as YMMV.

Heh, didn't even see that. Still, that doesn't invalidate it automatically because I just looked at an email they sent to me on 3/1/09 and it was © 2006.

FWIW I went in and tried to use the coupon. The manager at my local store told me they didn't accept them anymore, and that they had "a ton of lawyers working on it."

I asked him why it was still being sent out via email, and he said "because people hack into qdoba and send out emails."

Further, he told me at my college that there were people handing out "hundreds of these, losing us thousands of dollars a day."

I said eff it and told him I wasn't happy that there was no warning.

Sounds like, in general, Qdoba has a problem with store owners not wanting to do coupons. Well, no big deal. I'll go to Freebirds instead. They've always got coupons showing up on grocery receipts around here, and they're always much busier than Qdoba. Funny, that.
