q6600 system with 2gb gskill, 2gb OCZ, causing problems

I am still working out the bugs in my new system, but it is an abit ip35 pro with a q6600 at stock speeds right now. I have 2gb of gskill ram, this one

and 2 of these:

I am having boot problems, posting problems, problems running superpi with cpu-z running at the same time, etc. If I run the OCZ on it's own, everything is great. If I run just the Gskill on it's own, I think it is stable, but I need to experiment more with it. Should I just give up on this combination, or try harder?

System won't run at all with the OCZ on it's own if I set the bios memory settings to auto, however at 4-5-5-15 and 1.975V it runs great. I vaguely remember when I bought all these parts back in December that the OCZ had a higher than normal voltage requirement and you had to set them manualy (or it could be my imagination.)

Reason it all sat so long was I bought everything with a E6750, then promptly returned the CPU in anticipation of the E8400. After waiting and waiting I finally gave up and bought a Q6600. Of course, NOW newegg has the E8400 in stock for 209. Sigh.

Anyhow, back to the original question, if I set the memory timings for the slower of the 2 ram types, like 5-5-5-15@2.0V, should these play well together, or just give up on it?

Thanks!

The G.Skill ram says 1.8-2.0V

The OCZ says 1.95 - 2.1V so I would think around 2.0 or even 1.975 would be good.
The OCZ also says 2.2 EVP. (extended voltage protection) that may be what you were looking at.
