A little background. My build is for gaming since that is the most tasking app I use.

Current system:

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 rev 2
CPU - E4300 @ 3MHz
Mem - 2x1 meg Kingston ddr2 667
GPU - 7900GS
Case - P180
Cooling - Freezer 7 Pro
OS - XP home 32bit
PSU - gamexstream 600w

In the near future I plan on upgrading to Q6600 and 8800GT and mem to 4 meg. I will oc to 3 or 3.2. I know my os will not recognize the full 4 meg. My thinking is I will have the max mem usable and I will be in good shape if and when I upgrade to 64 bit (not high on my priority list). I am planning on going with 2x2 4 meg kits. I've read that 4 sticks are harder to work with and it leaves room for 8meg eventualy. Will go for DDR2 800, Mushkin and Patriot have some good 4 meg kits (cas 4). Leaning towards Mushkin if I can verify compatability.

My questions. For the oc, keeping a 1 to 1 ratio.

Fsb 333 mult 9 downclock mem to 667 for an easy 3.
Fsb 360 mult 9. Kind of complicates mem oc doesn't it?
FSB 400 mult 8 making use of my ddr2 800 mem.

Just some comments, pros and cons etc on these oc's would be appreciated.

A general question relating to the mem. If I'm content with 3Mhz, is there an advantage of DDR2 800 vs DDR2 667? I just can't seem to get my hands around the whole mem issue.
