you should def shoot higher than 3.0ghz, my g0 Q6600 went to 3.2ghz with stock voltage.

bump your VCore to 1.3v and bump your FSB to 400mhz and drop your multiplier to 8x.

boot into your windows and stress test. no need for extra heatsinks or anything

you're def good to go
