Saw this mentioned in another thread in the mobo forum. Thought it might be interesting to post. Perhaps there is someone among us that collects CPUs.

uhhh this comment directed at me or mark?

and i cant afford another processor or i have to ditch my arc-1680ix controller dream

:\

as ive been telling people i'll have a Extra Special CPU up for a mini review this weekend.

But seriously DAYAM YOU LARRY!!!!!
i want that.

Doing some search that thing might be a B3, and it might be a X3210 counter part. THe X3220 was the Q6600 counter part.

And another note, stalliontek is known for selling ES chips without letting you know. Im willing to guess those 13 chips they have are ES since the Q6400 was never released to public.

yeah they must be es(if its real and not a miss print, the pick says core 2 duo) and it makes sense because as you said there was the x3210 xeon line. I would be careful buying that, especially with the G0 6600 so cheap :) , Hot Deals is your friend.

Shouldn't that be a Q6420 if it has 2x4MB cache? The e6400 only has 2MB cache, while the e6420 has 4MB.

I had a couple of those. I think they had some retail processors ready but they got scrapped.
