Q3Arena Demo benchmarking

I have Q3 Arena installed with the latest patch [1.31] and I'm trying to benchmark my system but I can't seem to find the q3demo1 file!

I start Q3 and then hit the ~
type timedemo 1
demo q3demo1

Nothing happens. When I click on the Demos menu, there are none listed there. How do I get the q3demo1 file?

Ok, I found this:

Timedemo Q3A 1.31 point release:
1.Go into pak6.pk3 with winzip and look in the demos folder, find the file four.dm_66.
2.Make a copy of it and put it in your [game dir]/baseq3/demos folder.(Create the folder if you need to)
3.Notice that it has a .dm_66 extension -- change the extension to .dm_67
4.Launch quake 3 and type "Timedemo 1" in the console, then type "demo four"

However, is this the same demo that use to benchmark the kt333 mobos?

All it says is "Quake III Arena - 1024x768x32", but Im not sure which demo they're testing.

Good question, maybe ask in this Thread. Othewise, that is the demo from the prior point release and will work fine to benchmark your rig.
