I'd forgotten about "The Mother of All Games". That may be number one. Notable mentions are Duke Nukem 3D and I had a lot of fun with Blood and Eye of the Beholder.

Hehe I remember playing on Kali and Kahn, it was so fun. I didn't actually play the single player all that much. The levels were too repetitive.
