Q-tip useage poll

This is stupid, I know, but I am having a discussion with a coworker and we need this to be settled.

If you use Q-tips to clean the inside of your ears, how many do you use - 1, with each side of the tip going in each ear, or 2, and use both sides per ear?

This, of course, assumes you use a double-sided Q-tip.

one side for each ear unless it's gunked up good. Although, I've always been told that you shouldn't use q-tips to clean your ears... but obviously I didn't listen 😱.

2 total. I use 1 per ear. 1 side to clean inside ear, the other to clean outside, in that grove that runs around.

I dont use q-tips. I just take a square or two of TP and give my ears a once over after I shower to get the water out of them.

Sometimes I use 3 - if I've been out camping or working outside or something there usually is more dirt. But 2 for the most part.

Ech, how do people clean their ears thoroughly if they don't use Q-tips? I know there's that stuff you can pour in your ear and then lean over and *sploosh* there goes the gunk, but that's just....nasty.........

1 or 2 depending on level of dirtiness

1st round: use one end of 1 q-tip per ear. if there is substantial dirt then go on to 2nd round.
2nd round: use one end of 1 q-tip per ear.

I usually end up using 3-4 per ear, using both sides. I clean them every week or two, but a bunch of gunk accumulates over that time. I guess I have really waxy ears.
