Probably the same as bracelets with magnets that supposedly reduce joint pain like arthritis. Pro golfers on the Senior tour as well as many regular golf pros wore them and made them very popular 5 to 10 year ago. There is no reason for them to work, but a few years ago when I almost had to give up golf from wrist pain, I got one of the magnetic bracelets. Some way it or something gave me enough relief to keep playing. It was not the placebo effect since I absolutely did not believe it would work. My uncle, who has very bad joint pains from heavy, hard work bought the Q-ray and he can play golf again also. Would I ever pay that much for the Q-ray...... Duh, no, there are many less expensive magnets around.
